Werner is an admitted senior attorney in the High Court of South Africa, specializing for a period of just more than two decades in High and Supreme Court litigation with special reference to international contracts and high-profile cases. He has a background in commercial law. He’s an established public speaker, mediator, negotiator, and businessman. Werner’s clients range from a State President and his Chief of Staff, international celebrities, banking institutions, municipalities, political parties, insurance companies to various boards of directors. He is currently the chairperson of both the Oudtshoorn Local Authority’s Risk Management and Audit Committees. Werner’s strong and weak point is “never give up”. His passion remains negotiating and making international multi-million-dollar deals.

Janneke Steyn

Bio:

Janneke completed her LLB degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2015 and went on to complete her two years of articles at Legal Aid South Africa, where she was primarily exposed to the robust and intensive working environment of district criminal courts in South Africa.  

 In line with her particular family law interests and after gaining some valuable practical experience and exposure to domestic disputes and divorce matters, she continued to complete her LLM degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2021. The study she undertook examined the legal provisions protecting domestic violence victims from secondary victimisation by the police. She has thus hereby refined her skills in respect of where criminal law and family law meet very often, namely in the area of domestic violence. With these refined skills, she is particularly skilled in dealing with divorce matters and the domestic issues involved.
